Important note on data sensitivity: your recordings may contain sensitive professional information (strategy, HR data, client information, financial data). We recommend not recording particularly sensitive data (health data, legal proceedings) via VoxDocs.

Payment data is processed exclusively by Stripe. VoxDocs does not store any card data. Only a Stripe customer identifier and subscription status are stored in our database.

4. Data retention

Account data Retained for the lifetime of the account, then 30 days after account deletion.
Billing data 10 years (legal accounting obligation).
Technical logs 30 rolling days.

5. Data location and international transfers

VoxDocs is transparent about data location. Here is where your data is processed:

Transparency on international transfers: your audio recordings are transmitted to OpenAI's US servers for transcription. OpenAI contractually commits not to use API customer data to train its models. This transfer is covered by Standard Contractual Clauses in accordance with GDPR Article 46.

VoxDocs never sells your data to third parties. We share your data only with the sub-processors listed above, strictly for the purpose of providing the service. No sharing for third-party advertising purposes is performed.

Your account and data (audio recordings, transcriptions, account information) will be deleted within 7 business days. Billing data is retained for 10 years in accordance with legal obligations.
